Moleskin Sketchbooks

I have treated myself to a couple of Moleskins which are being delivered to mum's along with my spring collection of wigs as I will be recuperating there next week.
The sketchbooks are a bargain on Wordery, way cheaper than the Moleskin site even.

The paper is acid free and a lovely shade for selling. I sold quite a few small graphite drawings to collectors. They look way better than bright white papers.

I will be happy to sketch during my respite.

Finally Alfie made it to Paris today

I have done the best selling flags and now I am having a break from all the travelling. This is the last one today of Alfie who made it to France.

I guess the cats will be next as I am keen to get some designs that are not mature content. But I won't do the same style, I think the cat needs to be a bit more radical somehow.
Maybe I could put her in national costumes, hmmm, maybe not.

Also I have to get up at an undignified hour to be driven to hospital for a pre-op appointment, Fuck knows what they will do me but I am petrified even to have my blood pressure taken these days.

for the full Alfie range to date....

I have developed the Alfie brand it seems and I like my flags distressed. They look so much better for this project and less 'tourist like'.

The Countess of Brighton and Hackney is Optimistic about the Hysterectom...

Apparently pod casting is the next big thing. Well I did it first. My diaries go way back, a good few years, and I think it may be time to get back into the virtual groove.

The Countess of Brighton Hackney chats from the bath most days about all things relevant to a Countess.

Alfie goes on Tour and the Goddamn Grannies Start the Podcast Series

I am thrilled to bits with my Alfie series and today he will be continuing his world tour. There are a lot of countries Alfie is determined to visit!

I also learned how to make a transparent background for the tees and stickers range at the Redbubble shop and ended up with my shooting victim tee which I love. It looks very cool on a phone cover but phones don't bleed so I will do anther maybe, if I can be bothered.

Apparently pod-casting is the next big thing. Well as a veteran podcast I am aware that pdcasting is ALWAYS the next big thing but I have decided to launch Goddamn Grannies as a radio show.

Expect commentary from me and other grannies including mum who decided her voice and diction are perfect for radio and no one will know she is still in her rollers!

My pre-op hospital appointment is tomorrow where I will interrogate my award winning Russian gyne consultant about my impending surgery. I have lived with this tumour for many years and whilst I won't be sad to see it go, there is something very final about saying goodbye to my ovaries and womb. They have worked hard for me all these years.

Looking forward to a very exciting future.
